I have tried to run Journler in 10.9.5 (my OS of choice) and it kind of works.
1. You have to be very very patient – the icon may bounce in the Dock for what seems like a long time before the application finally launches.
2. I cannot get pictures to ‘alias’ into Journler at all (which is how I have set Preferences – I don’t want image duplication); sometimes Journler crashes when trying to do this – note, the images are in an ordinary Finder folder, not in iPhoto or anything like that.
If you don’t have images in Journler, it may still work ok for you. I tend to run Snow Leopard Server in Parallels 10 where Journler runs better.
